YUMI Keratin Lash Lift is a nourishing, restoring and conditioning treatment. A technique designed to lift, curl and darken the natural lashes, without having to resort to false lashes and extensions, using your own lashes.

The new YUMILASHES 2.0 formula is cruelty free, formaldehyde free, ammonia free, hyper allergenic and paraben free. The process take about 1.5 hours and the results lasts anywhere between 8-12 weeks.

YUMI Lash Lift can be performed every 8 weeks; with proper lash care. YUMI Lash Tint can be performed every 4 weeks.

The YUMI processing formulas are meticulously applied by a YUMI Certified Expert. The lashes are gently brushed onto a shield using a water soluble glue. Once each lash is separated and onto the shield, each formula will be applied and then wiped off during the procedure. Your eyes will be closed the entire time until advised to open. At the end of the procedure, your lashes will be fanned dry.

Discontinue use of waterproof mascara and have extensions removed at least 72 hours prior.

Any facial treatments must be done prior to the YUMI Keratin Lash Lift.

Wash your hair prior to your appointment. You will not be able to wet the lashes for 48 hours after the treatment.

AFTER THE 48 hour period, it’s important to keep lashes hydrated and nourished. Apply YUMI Keratin Restore Mascara Serum (clear) on the lashes daily or at night to clean lashes.

ANAGEN PHASE

Beginning stage - The hair has just begun growing out of the skin. Lashes are short and barley visible.

CATAGEN PHASE

Transitional stage - Short phase lasting approximately 2 weeks in which the lash stops growing.

TELOGEN PHASE

Mature State - Also knows as the resting phase. Lashes are fully grown and ready to shed.

A YUMI Brow Lamination is a unique process using YUMILASHES 2.0 formula realigning the direction of the brow hairs creating fuller uniformed brows.

FOR THE FIRST 48 hours after your appointment…

Avoid direct sunlight, fake tans, self tanning products on the face 48 hours before and after your appointment.

Avoid getting the brows wet. This includes steam, saunas, sweat, tears, cleansers, moisturizers, makeup, makeup removers/wipes, sleeping masks, swimming, etc.

Avoid exfoliating the brow area, and the use of Retin-A and AHA for 72 hour before and after treatment.

The new shape of the brows can take 24 hours for the bonds to settle, secure and hold. It’s crucial to follow these aftercare instructions.

AFTER THE 48 hour period, apply Keratin Restore Mascara Serum on the brows daily & at night to clean brows. It will hydrate and nourish the brows and prevent them from becoming brittle.

Avoid rubbing or touching brows with your fingers. Always use a clean brush.

The brow hairs will move especially after they get wet. Pat dry and gently brush them and set them with a brow gel or Keratin Restore Mascara.

Laminations can only be done every 4-8weeks. Maintenance appointments are available in between lamination appointments, which includes, wax/tweeze, trim, tint (optional), and a deep moisturizing treatment.

Your health and well-being is our top priority and not everyone is eligible for the treatment. Those who are prone to any form of eye disease, have mild or severe allergies, and are under the age of 16 (parental consent is required), suffer from chronic back or neck pain and cannot lay down for 60-90 minutes, are unable to keep their eyes closed for a long period of time and expected mothers may not be eligible for the treatment, among other conditions.

What you should know

prior to you Eyelash

Extension Appointment

Cleansing your eye area and lashes is very important when you have eyelash extensions. Cleansing will prevent eye irritation, and oil build up that can weaken the health of the lashes and adhesive bond.

Avoid touching the eyes with your fingers! Please only use a clean lash spoolie. I will provide a complimentary aftercare kit for you, which includes, 1 lash cleanser, 1 cleansing brush and a spoolie.

With the cleanser and cleansing brush, clean the upper eyelids, lashes and lash line from natural oils, sweat, concealer, makeup and dirt/dust every morning & night. Especially after sweating or swimming. Pat lashes dry with a LINT FREE TOWEL and brush them once dry.

Wash your hair prior to your appointment. You will not be able to wet the lashes wet for 24 hours after application.

Arrive to your appointment with zero makeup, lotion, sunscreen. Please bring it with you and you may apply those afterwards.

Do not wear contact lenses to your appointment. We have contact solution available if needed.

Bring a cozy blanket from home. Blankets will not be provided.

It’s important to get your lashes examined by me before a lash lift or eyelash extensions, so I can determine what cycle and state your lashes are in and decide what service is best for you.

The best time to get a lash lift is during the CATAGEN PHASE. There is minimal natural lash loss and minimal growth of the lashes. I will try my best to calculate this for you. You may need to start a lash rehab routine if lashes are damaged.

Lash shedding and regenerating is a natural part of the hair growth cycle. On average, everyone loses 1-5 lashes per day.

Causes of excessive lash shedding can be from stress, a new diet, hormones, or medication.

We are aware that COVID-19, RSV and the Flu is going around. We are fully vaccinated and wear our masks at all times when clients are in our studio. We make sure to always disinfect and sanitize everything in between each client.

How long does the teeth whitening process take from start to finish?

The in-office teeth whitening treatment process takes a minimum of about 60 minutes total time to do a double teeth whitening session.

What will I experience during this procedure?

You may feel a slight tingling, or bubbling against your teeth for the first few minutes. This is normal and is the sign that the gel is producing the oxygen that does the work of bleaching.

How long will my teeth stay white?

One to two years is possible and depends greatly on your lifestyle and habits. If you drink a lot of coffee, tea, dark soda, or red wine, or especially if you smoke, the results will not last as long.

Is the procedure safe?

Yes. Extensive clinical research and trials have shown that cosmetic teeth whitening is safe. Many dentists and dental researchers consider this process to be the safest dental or cosmetic procedure available. It is recommended that no one under the age of 18 years, nor any women that are pregnant or breastfeeding, have this procedure done. The peroxide we use is made in the U.S, vegan, non-toxic and FDA approved.

Which starting teeth shades respond best to teeth whitening?

In general, if your teeth are stained yellow it will be easier to whiten them. Gray teeth are harder to whiten and don’t respond as well as yellow-stained teeth.

What kind of results can I expect from the process?

Everyone’s teeth are different, thus, results will vary. That being said, most people will experience a difference of 2-4 shades whiter with a 15-minute treatment, and 5-8 shades difference with a double (two back-to-back 15-minute regimens) treatment session.

Led Teeth Whitening Aftercare

In order to retain the effects of your teeth whitening treatment, please avoid eating or drinking any stain-causing foods or beverages such as coffee, tea, dark soda, red wine, or dark fruit juices for at least 24 hours. It is best to continue to brush your teeth as frequently as possible and after every meal/drinking to better enhance your whitening treatment for the first 24 hours.

If you need to drink these beverages within the first 24 hours, use a straw to avoid a lengthy contact time with your teeth.

If you are experiencing any discomfort or tooth sensitivity, we recommend that you use Sensodyne™ toothpaste. You could also use over-the-counter painkillers such as acetaminophen or ibuprofen, if you can take those products safely.
